One Dad.Too Many Hobbies.

Near Mint Dad is where fatherhood, comics, gaming, technology, collecting, and whatever side quest comes next all end up in the same place.

The Origin Story

Then I Became Dad.

I’ve always had things I could disappear into.

Comics. Games. Technology. Collecting. Building things. Whatever new interest or project caught my attention.

Then I had my son.

And suddenly I had the most important quest I could ever imagine: being his dad.

I couldn’t be more proud of that. My son is everything to me, and becoming a father changed the way I look at the things I love. They aren’t just my hobbies anymore. They’re things I hope I get to experience with him.

Maybe it’s reading a comic together. Maybe it’s handing him a controller. Maybe it’s building something at the desk while he’s right there beside me. Finding ways to enjoy the things I love with him means more to me than I can put into words.

Dad To Dad // Field Note

I also want Near Mint Dad to be a place where I can share those experiences with other dads—the things I’m learning, the mistakes, the hobbies, the wins, and the challenge of finding time for the things we enjoy while raising the people who matter most.

Who Is Near Mint Dad?

Dad First.
Everything Else After.

Near Mint Dad is me. I’m not a comic expert, a gaming critic, or a fatherhood guru. I’m a dad who loves comics, games, technology, collecting, building things, and learning as I go.

This is where I keep track of what I’m discovering, the mistakes I make, the stuff worth sharing, and the hobbies I hope become memories my son and I can make together.

I don’t need any of it to stay near mint. I’d rather it become part of our story.

The Main Quest Is Fatherhood.Everything Else Is A Side Quest.
